The following police reports were filed between September 12 and September 18, 2025. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individual was charged with a felony:
Jeremy A. Mitchell, dob 8-09-1997, burglary without causing damage, theft/control/person less than $500, possession of a weapon/prior felony conviction, aiding and abetting/possession/sell stolen vehicle.
The following individuals were charged with a misdemeanor:
Alex J. Anderson, dob 1-02-2008, criminal trespass building.
Alphonso Anderson, dob 1-10-1967, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Venus V. Arrietta, dob 9-01-1979, assault, battery/cause bodily harm.
James David Busch, dob 8-16-2006, consumption of liquor/minor.
Kyle T. Yates, dob 1-09-2006, consumption of liquor/minor.
The following individual was charged with domestic violence:
Mathew J. Anderson, dob 12-04-2000, domestic battery/physical contact.
The following individual was charged with a major traffic violation:
Gregory E. Gallup, dob 3/27/2005, speeding 35+ mph over limit.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Trevor J.E. Cox, dob 8-07-2004, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Dustin M. Kraushaar, dob 7-28-1991, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
