Jersey County Democrats Hosting Cornhole Tournament

Attention serious and not so serious Cornhole aficionados. The Jersey County Democratic Central Committee is sponsoring a Cornhole Tournament on Sunday, October 19 at the friendly confines of Tri-County Bowl at 207 Krause Drive in Jerseyville, Illinois.
Registration of teams and practice is from 12 p.m. noon to 1 p.m. with Bags scheduled to “Fly” at 1:30 p.m. $100.00 will be awarded to the Team finishing in First Place. The Second-Place finishing Team will earn $50.00 and the Third Place Team will receive T-shirts. Registration fees are $25.00 per team prior to or on October 16. Registration after October 16 is $30.00 per team. Registration can be made via [email protected] while walk up registration on the tournament date is also accepted. Registration fees are due by the date of the tournament on October 19.
In addition to the Tournament, pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw and chips are available for purchase at $10.00 per plate. The Tri-County Bowl restaurant will also be open and available for the purchase of drinks.
Bring your lawn chairs, an appetite for tasty food and a desire to see determined “Bag Flingers” practice their craft at putting weighed bags into holes from astounding distances. Fun for all on a Fall Sunday afternoon
