JWCC Seeking Adult Literacy Volunteers at Open House Event October 16

John Wood Community College’s (JWCC) Adult Literacy Program will host a Volunteer Open House event Thursday, Oct.16, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at JWCC at Bella Ease located at 721 Broadway in Quincy.
Individuals interested in serving as a volunteer to help adults gain literacy skills are encouraged to attend. Volunteers must reside in Illinois, be 18 years of age or older, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. No experience is needed, and service is arranged according to the volunteer’s schedule approximately one to two hours per week.
