The DMV MOBILE UNIT will be at the Extension Office on November 7, 2025. They are asking that you sign up prior to the date of the event. Please call Georgi at 618-576-2293 to sign up for your appointment.
November events: Bingo Thursday, Nov. 13, and Tuesday, Nov. 18, Friendsgiving Bingo. Closed for Thanksgiving November 27 and 28.
Beware of Medicare scams during this time. If you have any questions please call 618-576-9567. Remember, Medicare does not call you on the phone. Do not give out your Medicare number to anyone.
Medicare’s Open Enrollment Period (OEP) Oct. 15 – Dec. 7. Medicare Fraud is everywhere. Do not give out your Medicare Number to anyone. Please remember to schedule your Med D appointment asap, time slots are filling up. Make sure you are on the right plan. For 2026 your yearly out of pocket expense is capped at $2,100.00. Also, asked about the Extra Help program offered by Medicare, call 618-576-9567 for assistance.

St. Vincent DePauls is open every Wednesday from 10 am to 4 pm, except the 5th Wednesday they are closed on that day. This organization helps with rent, utilities, mortgage, GED as well as, the food pantry and clothing store. They are located in Hardin, Illinois.
Free Food Distributions take place the second Monday of every month at the American Legion Post 1083 in Kampsville, Illinois. This is provided by Food Access Resource Markets; St. Louis Area Foodbank.
