The following police reports were filed between November 14 and November 20, 2025. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
Anthony J. Gettings, dob 4-09-1992, criminal damage to property between $500-$10K.
Lloyd A. Hawes, dob 3-22-1951, aggravated battery/peace officer, threaten a public official.
Clinton Edward Lefler, dob 7-23-1968, possession of meth less than 5 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia.
The following individuals were charged with a misdemeanor:
Andrew C. Craigmiles, dob 3-14-1988, violate stalk no contact order.
Laurie A. Mundy, dob 6-02-1977, battery/cause bodily harm.
Blake E. Smith, dob 7-14-1992, battery/cause bodily harm.
The following individual was charged with a DUI:
Bernard G. Darr, dob 6-02-1955, driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
The following individual was charged with domestic violence:
Trenton J. Saettele, dob 5-16-2006, domestic battery/physical contact.
The following individual was charged with an conservation violation:
Sbewu Mmeli Fipaza, dob 1-08-2001, negligent driving.
The following individual was charged with a major traffic violation:
Jacob M. Thery, dob 6-18-2002, driving on a suspended license, violate license classification 1st & 2nd division, fleeing/attempting to elude officer, drive without headlights/cycle/1st & 2nd, no valid registration/1st and 2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Michelle L.B. Bachmann, dob 1-22-1972, failure to yield/crosswalk/school.
Amanda M. Beeman, dob 2-06-1995, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Karen L. Bland, dob 11-20-1985, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Quinton M. Cox, dob 4-02-2003, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Toby S. Darnell, dob 11-12-1970, no valid registration/1st and 2nd.
Brandie M. Findley, dob 2-10-1985, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
John M. Greathouse, dob 1-15-2008, failure to reduce speed.
Tabitha R. Hooper, dob 1-06-2000, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Mark A. Landon, dob 8-21-1959, operate uninsured motor vehicle
Excel Marie Evelyn Louis, dob 1-18-1996, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Pamela L. Meyer, dob 4-21-1954, driving 11-14 mph above limit.
Sammy L. Retherford, dob 12-24-1985, operate uninsured motor vehicle, operate motor vehicle/registration/suspended.
