Ali Little scored 23 points, and West Central beat Western 48-28 in girls basketball Nov. 19 at Barry.
The Cougars (2-0) led 14-6 after one quarter and 28-14 at halftime. They outscored Western 14-3 in the fourth quarter.
Paisley Sturtevant scored 10 points, and Sofie Grubb scored seven for West Central. Jackie Lashmett scored four points, and Adrienne Kaufmann scored two.
Sturtevant scored 10 points and had four rebounds, and the Cougars began the season with a 37-31 win over Unity Nov. 17 at Mendon.
Little scored eight points and had six rebounds and four steals. Grubb scored eight points and had six steals.
Kaufmann scored five points and had six rebounds and two assists. Evynn Gregory scored three points.
Jackie Lashmett scored two points and had six rebounds. Ellie Wahl scored one point.
