West Central jumped to an 11 point lead after one quarter and beat Greenfield-Northwesern 47-19 in girls’ basketball Dec. 10 at Greenfield.
The Cougars led 18-7 after one quarter and 22-11 at halftime. They outscored Greenfield-Northwestern 15-2 in the third quarter.
Braylee Littig made her first three-point basketball of the season. She missed most of last season after being diagnosed with leukemia. Adrienne Kaufmann, Ali Little, Paisley Sturtevant, Evynn Gregory and Mia Sievers also made a three-point basket.
Sturtevant scored 13 points to lead West Central (5-2, 1-1 in WIVC). Gregory scored 12 points, and Little scored 10.
Kaufmann scored four points. Littig and Sievers each scored three points. Olivia Clark and Sofie Grubb each scored one point.
Triopia beat West Central 49-38 Dec. 8 in Concord.
