January 30 Monthly Drawing
The DMV Mobile Unit will be at the Calhoun Extension Office, Hardin, Illinois on the following days: May 8, July 10, September 4, and November 6. All of these days are on a Friday and take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Medicare Part B covers preventive services. One of the services that is covered is ground ambulance transportation to a hospital, critical access hospital, rural emergency hospital, or a skilled nursing facility for medically necessary services when traveling in another vehicle could endanger the health of an individual. Medicare MAY PAY for emergency transportation in an airplane or helicopter if a person is needing rapid ambulance transport that a ground ambulance cannot provide.

Friday, Jan. 23: Cheeseburger with Fixings, Cottage Cheese, Corn, Warm Apples and Cinnamon.
Monday, Jan. 26: Chicken & Dumplings, Collard Greens, Sweet Potatoes, Mandarin Oranges.
Tuesday, Jan. 27: Eggs, Sausage Gravy & Biscuit, Breakfast Potatoes, Cinnamon Roll Cake.
Wednesday, Jan. 28: Country Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Green Beans, Apple Crisp.
St. Vincent DePauls is open every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., except the fifth Wednesday they are closed on that day. This organization helps with rent, utilities, mortgage, GED as well as the food pantry and clothing store. They are located in Hardin, Illinois.
Free Food Distributions takes place the second Monday of every month at the American Legion Post 1083 in Kampsville, Illinois. This is provided by Food Access Resource Markets; St. Louis Area Foodbank.
