The Calhoun Warriors beat the North Greene Spartans last Friday, 67-36. The first quarter of the match ended with Calhoun earning a small lead, 17-13, but the Warriors took a big lead by halftime. The Warriors outscored the Spartans 18-4 in the second quarter to take an 18 point lead at the half, 35-17.
Calhoun kept the pressure on in the second half of the game putting up 22 in the third quarter and 10 in the fourth while holding North Greene to nine in the third and 10 in the fourth.
Jack Zipprich led the match and the Warriors in scoring with 18 points. Lane Eilerman scored 16, Easton Wallendorf scored 12, Blake Nolte scored nine, Selby Pohlman scored three, Gage Kiel Scored three, Parker Baalman scored two, Jacob Brannan scored two and Will Lorton scored two.
