Pikeland CUSD 10 Launches Strategic Planning Process to Shape District’s Future

Pikeland CUSD 10 is taking a proactive step toward long-term stability and future preparation. Superintendent Dr. Russ Tepen and the Board of Education have officially launched a Strategic Planning Process to establish a clear 5-year roadmap for the district. This opportunity was funded by the Tracy Family Foundation Grant Programs.
As the largest school district in the county, Pikeland serves as a regional anchor. The Strategic Plan will be grounded in community input, serving as a “North Star” to move the district toward a unified vision in the years to come.
“Pikeland has a rich history, an incredible community, and a resilient spirit,” said Dr. Russ Tepen, Superintendent. “This strategic planning process is about listening deeply to our staff, students, families, and community members, and turning that collective voice into a clear and ambitious vision for the future of our schools.”
The planning process began in February 2026 and will run through June 2026, with the finalized Strategic Plan being adopted for the 2026-2027 school year. The district is eager to engage all stakeholders through surveys, focus groups, and committee work.
