Child Health and Safety Fair on March 28 in Jerseyville
Families in Jersey County are invited to attend the Second Annual Child Health and Safety Fair on Saturday, March 28, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Susnig Center, located at 401 Mound Street in Jerseyville.
The event is sponsored by Jersey County Head Start and the Jersey County Health Department and is designed to promote the health, safety, and well-being of children and families in the community.
A variety of free activities and resources will be available for attendees. The Jerseyville Police Department will be on site providing car seat checks and installations to help ensure children are traveling safely. Free bike helmets and books will be distributed while supplies last, along with door prizes for participating families.
The Jersey County Arts Council will host a fun, hands-on art activity for children, encouraging creativity and engagement in a family-friendly environment.
In addition, numerous community service providers will be present to share valuable information and resources related to child health, child safety, and local support services available to families throughout Jersey County.
This free event is open to the public, and families are encouraged to attend to take advantage of the resources, activities, and giveaways.
