The Calhoun Warriors record setting season came to an end Wednesday night at Nokomis high school in the first round of Sectional play. The almost two hour drive did not stop Warrior fans from showing up and filling the gym. A back-and-forth game that had the packed gym on the edge of their seats. Going into half time saw Warriors leading 26 – 23. Unfortunately the end score saw Brown County coming out on top 48-46.
A heartbreaking loss for sure, especially for the seniors, but a season that saw a 1000 career points for Lane Eilerman, and saw Lane breaking assistant coach Drew Baalman’s single season scoring record set in the 2018-2019 season at 581 points with Lane scoring 591 in the 2025-2026 season.
The Warriors also set a team record of 27 wins.
