Grafton City Council approved a special event permit for the Flotsam! River Circus for Friday, Sept. 26, at Lighthouse Park. Flotsam! brought the traveling show to Grafton a couple of years ago with incredible puppetry and hair suspension acrobatics.
“Quiet the show,” Mayor Mike Morrow said.
More information on the free show and details about the Flotsam! River Circus can be found online at www.rivercircus.com.
“FLOTSAM! is a troupe of musicians, circus performers and puppeteers traveling on a ramshackle raft, giving free performances in waterfront towns along the way. Since 2019 we have performed for tens of thousands of people across thirteen states and have travelled over two thousand river miles. Our tours have taken us from the Willamette River in Oregon to the Mississippi, and in 2024 we completed our biggest tour to date, traveling the entire Ohio River from Pittsburgh to Paducah,” their website states.
