Mark Schaefer, President and CEO announces the promotion of Sara Clare to Personal Banker Supervisor at the Grafton branch. Sara joined the bank in 2015 as a part-time Teller and has worked at both the Jerseyville and Grafton branches throughout her career.
Nikki Heitzig has accepted the newly created position of Customer Support Specialist, a role that allows her to continue serving Jersey State Bank customers as the bank adapts to the increasing use of electronic banking services through the evolving financial environment. Nikki brings more than eight years of banking experience to her new role, having previously served as a Teller, Personal Banker in Jerseyville, and Grafton Branch Manager.

Jersey State Bank, the only locally owned Bank in Jersey County, has a long tradition of providing financial products and services to Jersey County and the surrounding area. Established in 1903, the Bank has assets in excess of $185 million and currently two offices to serve its customers – in Jerseyville and Grafton.
