The following police reports were filed between May 1 and May 7 2026. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
Bethanie E. Clark, dob 6-16-1981, criminal damage to property between $500-$10K, possession of an amount of a controlled substance except (A)/(D), possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting peace officer, firefighter or correctional employee.
William H. Guyer III, dob 4-25-1989, 2 charges of theft/display merchandise less than $300/previous conviction.
Avery W. Heyen, dob 6-24-2007, 3 charges of retail theft/display merchandise greater than $300.
Nicholas L. Hutchens, dob 1-10-1985, aggravated battery/peace officer.
Clinton Edward Lefler, dob 7-23-1968, possession of meth less than 5 grams, driving revoked/suspended DUI/SSS 4-9.
Tanner J. Reno, dob 2-05-2005, unlawful possession ID card greater than $150, theft/unauthorized control less than $500.
Samari Shavar Shell, dob 5-16-2007, unlawful possession credit/debit card.
Jonathan E. Walch, dob 5-25-2005, 3 charges of retail theft/display merchandise greater than $300.
Brandon A. Whitworth, dob 5-14-2007, 3 charges of retail theft/display merchandise greater than $300.
The following individuals were charged with a misdemeanor:
Andrew C. Craigmiles, dob 3-14-1988, theft lost/mislaid property less than $500.
Clinton E. Lefler, dob 7-23-1968, driving on a suspended license.
Brandon A. Martin, dob 6-23-1999, resisting peace officer, firefighter or correctional employee, 2 charges of obstructing identification.
Kaleb E. Morgan, dob 9-02-1990, retail theft/switch price less than $300.
The following individuals were charged with a DUI:
Courtney B. Bollinger, dob 8-04-1991, driving under the influence of alcohol, too fast for conditions, improper traffic lane usage.
Amanda M. Gust, dob 1-08-1980, driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene, operate uninsured motor vehicle, driving under the influence/blood alcohol concentration 0.08.
Zachary B. Hess, dob 3-01-2004, driving under the influence of alcohol, violate order of protection.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Nichole D. Armold, dob 5-19-1986, driving on a suspended license, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Andre J. Hernandez, dob 5-28-1964, reckless driving, unlawful use cannabis/driver.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Joseph W. Dressel, dob 2-27-1972, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Michael J. Eilerman, dob 8-27-1990, unregistered/expired registration.
Corey L. Garrison, dob 7-03-1985, driver failure to give notice of crash.
Nicholas Paul Woefel, dob 7-27-2007, operate uninsured motor vehicle, unregistered/expired registration.
