They started their married life in rural Griggsville, IL on Karen’s parent’s farm. Harry farmed and Karen took care of the home. They moved to Quincy in 1960, Harry worked for Master Tank and Welding for 5 years. Then he worked at Moorman Manufacturing Company for 28 years, retiring in 1994. Karen volunteered at the Blessing tea room and Adams School library. After retirement, they moved back to the family farm in 2002, where Harry was born and raised.
They enjoyed traveling the country with their camper. Many fun times are had at the farm with the family around the campfire.
