The Pikeland Unit 10 school board handled many personnel matters at the May 20 meeting.
Resignations accepted included: Noah Mendenhall, as full-time, long-term substitute teacher, Sarah Pines as full-time, short term substitute teacher, Eric Naughton, summer custodian.
Transfers included: Brandon Redford, took a voluntary transfer as assistant principal at PCS, Renita Ten Eyck, took a voluntary transfer to D-Pod (grades 6-8) at PCS,.
Hired were: Andy Battefeld, full-time custodian, Rebecca Yates, mathematics teacher, Karlie Schnepp, special education teacher, Angelica Rico Gaza, Spanish teacher, Nicole Shrum district instructional coach, Emma Puterbaugh, district art teacher ( starting Jan. 1 upon completion of licensing requirements), Megan Evans, full-time, long-term, substitute teacher, Madison Martin, full-time, short term substitute teacher, Camille Pruett, full-time, long-term substitute teacher, Marcella Puterbaugh, full-time head cook at PCS, Robin Pritchett, full-time cook at PCS, Amy Davis, full -time cook at PCS, Jennifer McEuen, full-time cashier and Peyton Apps, summer custodian.
