North Greene is right near the top of the State leaders with their bass fishing team placing second at the IHSA State Bass Fishing Tournament this past Saturday. The fishing duo of Porter Dossett and Owen Schutz caught 10 fish with a total weight of 29.15 pounds. They were edged out by Teutopolis, who took the top trophy in the State, also with 10 fish, but with a total weight of 31.09 pounds. They were escorted back into town by the fire departments of both White Hall and Roodhouse for their accomplishments. Dossett and Schutz proudly hold the massive trophy that will take up residence in the hallway trophy case at North Greene High School. (Submitted photo)
