Santa works all year round, and right now he and Steve Pegram with Got Faith? are gearing up for Christmas in July and some other summer events.
Families can celebrate Christmas in July with Santa on Saturday, July 25, during the Claus’ Family Reunion at Raging Rivers starting at 10 a.m. The event will include photo ops with family members and the summer Santa dessert, “The Strawberry Snowball” funnel cake bites, soft serve ice cream and a layer of strawberries.
On Saturday, Aug. 1, Got Faith? will host the Cans 4 Cars Crus’aide at Sinclair Food Mart in Jerseyville from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. to help support the Diane Stumpe Food Pantry. Entry for participants is six canned goods or non-perishable items for the pantry.
Got Faith? will continue to feed and inspire the hungry on Saturday, Aug. 15, at the annual 500 Men and Women Breakfast.
Former Fox 2 reporter Pastor Tim Ezell will return, sharing the word of the lord during the free breakfast.
This year’s breakfast will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Raging Rivers Amphitheater. Guest wearing their Got Faith? t-shirts will be able to receive $10 off admission to the water park.
More information on the events can be found on the Got Faith? Facebook page.
