The following police reports were filed between July 03and July 09, 2026. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
Dakota L. Harris, dob 6-28-2002, aggravated battery/use deadly weapon, battery/cause bodily harm.
Shane M. Vanetten, dob 3-04-1984, driving revoked/suspended DUI/SSS 4-9, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
The following individual was charged with a misdemeanor:
Darrell L. Stierley, dob 3-14-1968, criminal trespass to residence.
The following individuals were charged with a DUI:
Miste V. Combs. dob 6-14-1996, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence/blood alcohol concentration 0.08.
Mitchell H. Newby, dob 11-24-2000, driving under the influence of alcohol.
Aaron M. Niemeyer Jr., dob 12-10-2003, operate watercraft under the influence of alcohol, operating watercraft under the influence/blood alcohol concentration 0.08, operate watercraft without personal flotation device access.
Austin G. Ressler, dob 8-24-1995, operate watercraft under the influence of alcohol, identification number display.
The following individuals were charged with an ordinance violation:
Zebedee D. Allison, dob 5-18-1984, negligent driving.
James L. Futia-Ward, dob 7-02-1997, careless driving.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Douglass G. Brooks, dob 11-07-2004, driving on a suspended license.
Kenneth M. Burch, dob 7-10-1956, driving on a suspended license, improper traffic lane usage.
Ethan C. Wright, dob 6-30-2004, speeding 35+ mph over limit.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Erica M. McCord, dob 1-23-1995, expiration of registration.
Russell Steven Scott, dob 11-16-1993, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Christine E. Warcup, dob 1-18-1975, driving 11-14 mph above limit.
Megan J. Wiedman, dob 7-10-1975, no valid registration/1st and 2nd.
