GTI awarded a Connect Illinois Round 3 grant
Grafton Technologies, Inc. (GTI) was awarded a Connect Illinois Round 3 grant. Notice is hereby given that requests for proposals (RFPs) are being accepted for the stated project. Under this RFP, GTI will construct a fiber optic cable last mile broadband network to 500 locations, consisting of approximately 23.29 miles of underground mainline fiber optic facilities and .69 miles of aerial mainline fiber optic facilities within Jersey County, Illinois.
The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for outside plant construction services for the awarded Connect Illinois Round 3 grant project. The contractor must adhere to the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq.), Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/.01 et seq.), and Illinois Works Jobs Program Act (30 ILCS 559/20-1 et seq.). Companies are encouraged to submit proposals even if they are unable to meet all requirements.
