Terry Russell | 74 | White Hall

Terry Russell, 74, of White Hall, passed away March 25, 2025.He is survived by his three 3 children, Garrett, Barbara and Lindsey; several brothers and a sister; as well as many grandchildren. He loved his family dearly and had “shrines” of them all over his living room walls.
Terry happily enjoyed a very secluded and simple life, but that didn’t stop him from going to get his coffee every morning at the local restaurants. He lived a very active lifestyle, walking miles around town and back to his house off in its own little corner of the world where he enjoyed his peaceful solitude. He was, however a very friendly soul who would always have a welcoming smile to anyone who might need it. He loved to watch wrestling every week on television and would complain about the drama of it, but would be sure to tune in again for the next match! He didn’t have much, but was always so giving and eager to help others in need. He donated to several charities, in need of more than he was able to give, but sometimes he would give his last dollar just to help others. When Terry entered a room, he made his presence known! From his loud voice to his contagious laugh, you’d know you were there with a friend, a unique and genuine man who was ready to have a great chat if you were willing to give your time and attention.
Terry was a man of many great qualities. He was organized, resourceful, responsible, humble, and kind to no end. Some people only had a chance to experience a portion of his amazing, personality. Anyone who was so fortunate to sit with him and listen intently, was to be offered some wisdom. Interacting with Terry helped people realize not to give as much worry to the small stuff in life, but instead to cherish the relationships we build.
Friends and family of Terry were invite to help celebrate his life by stopping in for a visit at Smocks (Cookie’s) in White Hall on April 12 at 2 p.m.
