Steven Spencer/Jersey County Journal
Scott Isringhausen, with IDNR, spent last Wednesday at Wock Lake teaching elementary school students about the ecosystem of a lake, the different animals that might reside at Wock Lake, and of course how to cast and reel in a catch. Isringhausen said it’s his job to get kids outdoors and help get them “hooked” on fishing. Families will get a chance to learn lots more about fishing at the 36th Annual Two Rivers Family Fishing Fair on Saturday, June 7, at Pere Marquette State Park.
