Mr. and Mrs. James Leon West will celebrate 70 years of marriage June 11. They were married June 11, 1955 in Hannibal, Mo.. They have been life long residents of Pike County.
The couple were blessed with two children, Jeff (Laura) West of Pittsfield and Amy (Todd) Strubinger of Barry, three grandsons, Eric (Ashley) Strubinger, Lee (Amber) Strubinger, and Rilee West. They have two great granddaughters, Harper Jane Strubinger and Bailey Olivia Strubinger.
The couple plans to celebrate with a small family gathering.
