Charlie and Judy Duggins of Chatham, Illinois will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 19, 2025.
The couple was married on June 19, 1965 at Detroit Christian Church in Detroit, Illinois, with Jim Junkins officiating.
Their years together have been a true reflection of a I Corinthians 13 marriage. Charlie and Judy’s love for one another grew into a family which includes: Brad and his wife Karen of Springfield, Illinois whose daughters are Skylar Henry (husband Austin) and Summer; Brian of Bloomington, Illinois, and his son Bryson; and Brent of Chatham, Illinois.
In addition to their devotion to their family, Charlie and Judy committed themselves to vocations that have impacted countless lives Charlie served as a minister at Rockport Christian Church for 14 years and Loami Christian Church for 14 years, in addition to working at grain elevators and for the State of Illinois, retiring in 2004. For 26 years, Judy worked as a bus driver for the New Berlin School District, retiring in 2005. From the beginning, they first and foremost dedicated their life together to serving the Lord and they are currently active members at Cherry Hills Church in Springfield, Illinois. Throughout their marriage they have shown unbounded devotion, support, and love to not only their sons and their families but also to their many friends.
Their family and friends are honored to recognize the 60th wedding anniversary of these excellent servant-minded role models and look forward to continuing to learn from the far-reaching impact of their marriage together.
