JON WHALEN
Jon Whalen, a carpenter with Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for June.
Colleagues appreciate Whalen for his work ethic, attention to detail and craftsmanship. He responds quickly to work orders, utilizes his expertise for practical and cost-efficient solutions and is always polite and professional.
“Jon is asked to do many different tasks in a day, and he is able to complete these in a timely manner and with grace,” wrote one nominator.
“He always has good ideas on department issues or fixes, never seems rushed or hurried and does A++ work. He is a fantastic team player for JMH,” wrote another nominator.
Whalen has worked for Jacksonville Memorial Hospital since 1993.
