The 2025 Hooligan Hawgg car show will be Aug. 30 on the Pittsfield Square in conjunction with the 2025 Fall Festival. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and awards are at 3. Raffle items, 50/50 drawing, 20 Custom awards, best motorcycle, lawn mower and bicycle. Proceeds go to special needs children, Lincoln McCartney and Deeghan Allen.
The Pike County Fair Association has invited the Culpepper and Merriweather Circus to Pleasant Hill, Saturday, Aug. 30 at the fair grounds. The tent raising and tour is open to everyone and starts 9:30 a.m. The Midway opens at1 and performances are at 2 and 4:30 p.m. Advance tickets are available at Prairieland FS, Central State Bank, Bank of Kampsville, in Pleaant Hill and UCB and Prairieland FS in Pittsfield.
Sept. 7 Music with a Mission: The City of Pittsfield has announced the return of the 2nd Annual Music With a Mission Festival, taking place Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Pittsfield Lake Ball Diamond. Gates open at 4 p.m. for an evening packed with live music, community pride, and a powerful cause. Headlining this year’s event is the legendary, multi-platinum country band Little Texas, beloved for chart-topping hits like “God Blessed Texas” and “What Might Have Been.” Joining them on stage is the high-energy Nashville favorite, Los Honkey Tonkers. Kicking off the night’s performances is Evan Darnell, a hometown favorite and rising local star.
