The following police reports were filed between December 19 and December 23, 2025. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a DUI:
Austin L. McClain, dob 3-13-1998, driving under the influence of alcohol.
The following individuals were charged with an ordinance violation:
Joshua S. Brunaugh dob 9-02-1978, negligent driving.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Evan G. Brefeld, dob 1-22-2003, failure to give information/render aid/prop.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Christopher E. Cox, dob 9-15-2002, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Olivia K. Dufer, dob 4-12-2002, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Shawn C. Hill, dob 9-12-1991, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Bruce A. Price Jr., dob 10-29-1980, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Drew A. Sauerwein, dob 9-03-1999, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
