The Pike County Sheriff’s Department has announced the arrest of Jesse S. Moore, age 54, of rural Barry, Illinois.
The case was initiated when Chief Deputy Zack Orr observed that Jesse Moore was out of compliance with his sex offender registration. Chief Deputy Orr submitted an investigative report to the Pike County State’s Attorney’s Office.
After a formal review by the Pike County State’s Attorney’s Office, an arrest warrant was issued for Jesse Moore.
On March 10, 2026, Jesse Moore was arrested in Morgan County, Illinois. Moore was brought back to Pike County, where he was released pending court appearance.
