Farmers State Bank, Pittsfield, Illinois— Farmers State Bank is proud to announce it has been named a Top 5 Best Place to Work in Illinois for 2026. The recognition marks the fifth consecutive year the Bank has earned a place on the statewide list, further reinforcing its commitment to creating an exceptional workplace culture for employees.

This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in Illinois, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. Farmers State Bank was one of only 32 companies from across the state recognized at the awards ceremony this year.
The Best Places to Work in Illinois program evaluates organizations through a two-part process that includes an assessment of each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, and initiatives, as well as an anonymous employee survey designed to measure the overall employee experience. The combined results determine the top companies and final rankings.
