Hello from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship. Everyone is welcome to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, June 14, we had 19 attending Sunday school and 26 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Others to remember include Lois Hart, Peggy Clemons, Connie Sturgeon, Judy McCurley, Judy Cannon, Linda Hallock, Todd Carriger, Josh Cannon, Barnabas Griffith, Bob Newton, Don Bigley, Steve Lawson, Knox Lawson, Callen Hoesman, Carroll Waters, Adam Kershaw, Harold Kirchner, Chris Webb, and the families of Kenny Sprague, Edna Moran, Norma Jean Ossmand, and Fred Moulton.
There are no birthdays or anniversaries to share this week.
On Tuesday, June 9 we had 14 ladies join us for our monthly ladies luncheon. We enjoyed a delicious lunch of chicken and noodles, green beans, veggies and fruit and a jello cake. Esther Jefferson won the door prize and Jodi Carriger won last bingo.
We are scheduled to hold church services at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 21, at EverVella of White Hall.
During morning worship several shared stories and testimonies. Rich Caskey sang “The Big Deceiver.”
