Some spooky decorations are up on Baxter Avenue and ready to greet trick or treaters on Halloween. Trick or treating times this year are from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31, and the Jerseyville Public Library will be hosting their Annual Halloween Festival from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28.
