The Jersey County Business Association (JCBA) recently concluded its annual 12 Days of Christmas Shopping Adventure, marking another successful year of community engagement, local support, and festive cheer. Recently the JCBA drew and announced the winners of the event, revealing the top three participants who walked away with JCBA gift certificates that can be used just like cash at over 40 JCBA-member businesses.
The event, which ran from Nov. 27 through Dec. 8, garnered an unprecedented level of community participation this year. Local shoppers embraced the opportunity to explore the 32 participating businesses and take advantage of their daily promotions such as special sales, raffles and giveaways and yummy holiday treats. The annual festive event not only boosts local business but also creates a vibrant atmosphere throughout the holiday shopping season.
“We are thrilled to see the overwhelming success of this year’s 12 Days of Christmas Shopping Adventure,” Becky Wayne, Director of the JCBA, said. “The record-breaking participation reflects the community’s enthusiasm for supporting local businesses and enjoying the holiday spirit. The feedback from both the participating businesses and players has been incredibly positive, reinforcing the event’s impact on our local shopping community.”
A live drawing was held on social media to announce this years winners – the winners are as follows: first place was Tony Jones who won $300 in JCBA gift certificates; second place winner was Connie Blackorby, taking home $200 in gift certificates; and in third place was Lindsey Perdun who received $100 in gift certificates.
The JCBA extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and gratitude to everyone who participated in this year’s adventure. The success of the event wouldn’t have been possible without the enthusiastic engagement of the community and the collaboration of the participating businesses.
The positive feedback received from both players and businesses reinforces the JCBA’s commitment to fostering community connections and promoting the vibrant local economy. As the 12 Days of Christmas Shopping Adventure wraps up for this year, the JCBA looks forward to building on this success for future events that continue to bring joy and vitality to Jersey County.
