Carson Brown and Caden Meyer both hit two home runs to lead West Central to an 11-1 win over Griggsville-Perry April 29 at Winchester.
The game was scoreless through two innings before the Cougars broke through in the third.
Mason Berry reached on an error, and Brown hit a home run two batters later. Meyer followed with a solo home run with two outs in the inning.
West Central scored five runs in the fourth inning.
Berry reached on an error, Cameron Sievers walked, and Brown hit a three-run home run. Landyn Woods then reached base, and Meyer hit a two run home run.
Griggsville-Perry scored in the top of the fourth before the Cougars scored three in the bottom of the inning.
Sievers doubled and drove in two runs, and Woods followed with a double to drive in Sievers.
Brown finished with two hits and drove in five runs. Meyer had two hits and drove in three runs.
Sievers doubled and drove in two runs, and Woods doubled and drove in one run. Tucker Arnold had two hits, and Zack Evans had one hit.
Woods pitched three scoreless innings to pick up the victory. Meyer pitched the final two innings.
The Cougars (14-6) suffered losses against Calhoun (9-0), Carrollton (4-1) and Greenfield-Northwestern (8-5) later in the week.
