The JCHS Girls’ Tennis team wrapped up its season by going to Chicago for the IHSA State Tennis Tournament on Oct 20-22. Pictured are L-R Kate Jones, Sabrina Ingram, Lily Ingram and Elise Noble. The JCHS Girls’ Tennis team wrapped up its season with an impressive trip to Chicago for the IHSA State Tennis Tournament Oct 20-22. The doubles team of senior Lily Ingram and sophomore Elise Noble advanced to day two before losing in the Consolation Quarterfinals. The duo fininshed with a 3-2 record at state including a 3-6, 3-6 loss to Chicago University who won the overall state team competition. Seniors Sabrina Ingram and Kate Jones lost two matches on day one. The Panthers finished the 2021 season with an overall record of 14-3.
