After missing last year due to COVID, the Pittsfield Thanksgiving Tournament will resume this year.
The event begins Nov. 22 and runs through Friday, Nov. 26. The six-team, round robin tournament will feature Pittsfield, Payson and Western in Pool A and Liberty, Camp Point and Porta in Pool B.
The first game will be Nov. 22 at Pittsfield High School and will feature Liberty versus Porta at 6 p.m. The second game will be at 7:30 p.m. and will have the Saukees facing Western.
Nov. 23 will be Western and Payson in the 6 p.m. game and Porta and Camp Point in the 7:30 p.m. contest.
Wednesday, Nov. 24 will have Camp Point in a 5 p.m. game with Pittsfield and Payson following up in the nightcap at 6:30 p.m.. Note the earlier start times.
Friday games begin at 1 p.m. with the third place team in Pools A and B facing off; at 3 p.m. will be the second place teams from each pool and the championship game will be at 4:30 p.m.
