Pikeland 7th Grade Lady Braves Basketball Team beat Quincy St. Peters to claim the regional championship title on Wednesday, Nov. 24. by a final score of 33-18. Team members are, front row, left to right: Josie McClintock, Lincoln McCartney, Reese Ramsey, Sophie Gengler, Bailey Hill, and Sydnee Cox. Second row, left to right: Coach Matt Henry, Piper Henry, Kinlee Griggs, Cadie Mendenhall, Deeghan Allen, Macy Waters, Paige Willman, 8th Grade Coach Sydney Himmelman and Assistant Coach David Marable. The girls will play Athens, tonight (Wednesday) in the Auburn Section, at the Divernon Junior High School. Tip off is 6:30 p.m. If successful against Athens, they advance to the the state tournament and play at 2:30, again in Auburn.
