Betty Bradshaw, a lifelong resident of the Griggsville area, will be celebrating her 95th birthday on April 30. She would love to hear from you. Please send your card to 1707 N 12th St., Quincy, Ill., 62301.
Betty is the ninth child out of 11, born in 1927, to Sarah and Loren Phillips of rural Griggsville. She attended Griggsville High School and graduated Valedictorian in 1945. Betty taught elementary students at the Goldman School and Brush College, both local one-room schools. She is a life time member of the United Methodist Church. She married Wayne Bradshaw in 1948 and they raised three children. She has 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Betty will be celebrating her birthday with family.4.6
