Ruth and Gus Eschbach of Jerseyville are celebrating fifty years of marriage next Friday, May 13.
They were married in Jerseyville at Holy Ghost Catholic Church by Father Robert Heintz in 1972. Ruth worked as an administrator for the Jersey Community Unit School District, and Gus dedicated 40 years as a pipefitter at Olin Works, Inc.
They have been blessed with sons Kevin (Heather) and Matt (Monica), along with four grandchildren: Bailey, Ryan, Chesney and Reese Eschbach. The Eschbachs will celebrate with a family trip this summer.
