MATT HENRY

Matt Henry, coach of the PCS girls basketball team was named Coach of the Year by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association. The announcement was made April 30 at the annual IBCA banquet held at Illinois State University in Redbird Arena.
The Lady Braves were North Green regional winners and the Auburn sectional champ,  to finish a fine season as the 7AAA state tournament second place finish. Their season record was 21-4. Henry’s career record is 48-17.
He will coach the Pittsfield High School Lady Saukees in the 2022-23 season.
Henry is a 1994 graduate of Pittsfield High School, and lives in Pittsfield with his wife, Andrea, and four daughters.
