On Monday, May 9, the Jersey Panthers softball team played a home conference game against the Highland Bulldogs.
The top of the first inning started with two runs scored by the Bulldogs, followed by two in the bottom half scored by the Panthers. Both teams stayed quiet in the second, but the Bulldog’s bats flew again in the third and drove in another run.
Neither the Panthers nor Bulldogs could muster any more runs after the third inning. The game stayed still until the seventh, and the Bulldogs won 3-2.
The Panthers hold an overall record of 13-11 and a conference record of 4-4. The Bulldogs hold an overall record of 14-8 and a conference record of 6-2.
