Jerry Dean Ufer, 65, of Hamburg, IL. passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at his home. A memorial and dinner will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the American Legion in Louisiana, MO.
Jerry was born Feb. 21, 1957 in Hardin, IL to the late Glen and Joyce (Kroeschel) Ufer.
He is survived by his children, Michael (Alicia) Ufer of Jerseyville, IL; Jennifer (Mark) Fisher of Louisiana, MO and Hanna (Zosimo) Monjaraz of Louisiana, MO; grandchildren Landon, Colton and Carson Ufer, Jerry and Jasmine Perez, Emmarie Fisher, Australia, Luis and Sophia Monjaraz; great-grandchildren Adelyn Mowen and Kinsley Monjaraz; brothers Glen, Jr. (Stephanie) Ufer, Steve Ufer and Charles Ufer, a sister Susan (David) Phillips and ex-wife Gail Ufer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Doug and Jeff Ufer.
Jerry loved spending time with his family, was a true pit master on the grill, and enjoyed spending time fishing, camping and gardening.
