Each year, the American Legion Post #685 of Brussels awards two outstanding Brussels High School graduates the American Legion award and honorable mention. The American Legion award is based upon the following six characteristics: Courage, Honor, Leadership, Patriotism, Scholarship, and Service.  This year the American Legion Honorable Mention went to Tessa Clark. The winner of the American Legion Award was Macy Jacobs.
