Would you believe that there is such a celebration at this season of year as air conditioner appreciation days~wow now that’s a big one! As a lot of us remember the days without, the fan was the best invention-from the old metal fan and better keep your fingers clear for sure, to the box fan and often sitting in the window sucking the hot air out of the house(not sure that worked but maybe) and to the oscillating fan, what a great asset but oh nothing like the good ‘ol AC we are so used to today! That was a dream come true, so enjoy and appreciate that big window or yard ornament taking up space!
It is with sadness to pass along that we have lost some long standing, fine community folks, Steve Brawner and Steve Hammitt. Also Bonnie Tolbert of rural Hamburg, she had been in Pittsfield as of recent years. Condolences to all these families.
A big Happy Birthday to Anna Lee Buchanan, she will be 92 July 15.
