Christmas is coming early this year from Got Faith Ministries with a visit from Santa. Come take a photo with Santa and give him your Christmas wishes early! The event is free to the public and runs from 6-8 p.m. The festivities will be held at 508 W Pine St.
Saturday, July 23
Wedding dress tours at the Jersey County Historical Society, 601 N. State St. in Jerseyville will be taking place at noon, 1, 2 and 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling 618-520-2681.
Saturday, July 30
■ Christmas in July at the Treehouse Wildlife center, Dow will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Starting at 10 a.m. the event will have things such as crafts, door prizes, artisan vendors, and the first inventory clearance sale in the Gift Shop, and much more.
The event is free to attend and all funds made go to helping the wildlife center.

Sunday, Aug 7.
Relay for Life fundraiser at Jerseyville Tri-County Bowl, 207 Krause Dr., at 6 p.m. Organized by the American Cancer society, this fundraising event will give locals the chance to help cancer research, patients, and their families. The event will include things such as a Luminaria Ceremony, local entertainers, and much more. The event starts at 6 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 27 and 28
The Tri-County Antique Club will be holding their 31st annual fundraising event, the Olden Days, “Under the Windmill,” located at 23946 State Highway 3, Dow, IL.
