The Village of Kampsville will be holding a Breakfast Bash fundraiser on Sunday, Aug. 7, from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the American Legion Post 1083, 602 Stage Street in Kampsville.
The menu will consist of biscuits and gravy, pancakes, sausage patties, cinnamon rolls, and a drink.
The event is being hosted by the Village of Kampsville along with the Kampsville Summer Celebration Committee.
“We invite everyone to come out and support the Village of Kampsville,” said James Palmer, Summer Celebration Committee member. “What a great time to enjoy breakfast and fellowship. We have a great group of people that have stepped up in the community to make events like this happen.
There is an $8 cost for adults and $4 kids, but those under the age of 2 eat free.
All proceeds from this breakfast goes toward the 2022 Kampsville Summer Celebration,” said Palmer. “This allows the village to continue to host such a great day of events for communities all around. Breakfast not only can bring family together, it can also bring a community together. As we say in the Village of Kampsville, ‘It takes a village.”
The Summer Celebration will take place on Saturday, Aug. 20, and include a variety of events for the whole family. Some of the day’s activities will be a barbecue cookout, fireworks, vendors, food, bounce houses, music, pageants, games, and more.
More information about these events can be found on the 2022 Kampsville Sesquicentennial Summer Celebration Facebook page.
Additionally, 50/50 tickets will be available at the Breakfast Bash. This event is open to the public.
