Cami Lynn Ring of Griggsville and Rowland Dean Filbert of Pittsfield were married on June 11, 2022 at the Pittsfield United Methodist Church. Reverend Mick Laflin officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony.
Maid of honor and attendants were: Claire Geier of Tucson, Ariz., Haleigh Shepard of Dover, Tenn. and Lauren Templeton of Whitehouse, Tenn. Best man and groomsmen were: brother of groom Martin Dawson Filbert of Pittsfield, cousin of groom Connor Riess of Cumming, Ga., Jonah Meleski of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Connor Flanagan of Bloomington, Ill. Ushers were: cousin of groom Christian Rhea Dean of Pittsfield and Quinn Leahy of Scottsdale, Ariz. Ringbearers were nephews of the bride, JB and Iverson Williams.
The bride is a 2017 graduate of Griggsville Perry High School. She received an RN, BSN at Austin Peay State University in Tennessee in 2020. She is an ER nurse at Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. The groom is a 2015 graduate of Pittsfield High School. He graduated from Illinois Wesleyan 2019 with a degree in Economics. He is employed by Soliant in Cumming, Ga.
The rehearsal dinner was at Courtyard Café-County Seat, hosted by the groom’s parents, Dr. Amelia Dean and Mr. Walker Filbert. The reception was at Old Orchard Country Club.
Parents of the bride are Susie Winfield of Baylis, and Barb and Greg Ring of Oklahoma. Parents of the groom are Dr. Amelia Dean and Walker Rowland Filbert of Pittsfield. Rowland’s grandparents are Martha Lou and Dawson Dean of Griggsville and the late Nancy and Charles Filbert.
The couple are taking a wedding trip to The Gasparilla Inn and Club in Boca Grande, Fla.
