• Relay for Life fundraiser at Jerseyville Tri-County Bowl, 207 Krause Dr., at 6 p.m. Organized by the American Cancer society, this fundraising event will give locals the chance to help cancer research, patients, and their families. The event will include things such as a Luminaria Ceremony, local entertainers, and much more. The event starts at 6 p.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 9
• The Jersey County Arts Council Children’s Choir will deliver their debut performance at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church, located at 400 S. State St. in Jerseyville.
Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 27 and 28
• The Tri-County Antique Club will be holding their 31st annual fundraising event, the Olden Days, “Under the Windmill,” located at 23946 State Highway 3, Dow.
