The Jersey Panthers girls tennis team held their annual banquet last week where they passed out various performance awards to the players.
Players attending and receiving awards were Libby McCormick, who was named MVP; Josie Hudson and Cate Breden, who were given the PAC Pride Awards; Tessa Crawford, who was given the 110% Award; Emma McCormick, who was given the Team Spirit Award; Cali Breden, who was named Most Improved; Elise Noble, who was given Best Sportsmanship; and Kate Hudson who was given the Attitude and Effort Award.
The team’s win-loss record for this season was 25-2 and three players advanced to the state tennis tournament after placing second in the Quincy Sectional.
