Winter sports underway as Panthers start bowling season against Marquette

The Panthers bowling team started the season off with a win Tuesday, Nov. 8, against Marquette Catholic High School at Bowl Haven.
The boys will head to Collinsville this weekend for a tournament before hosting their first home match of the season next Wednesday.
Basketball starts next week with the Lady Panthers heading to Maryville Christian on Tuesday, Nov. 15, before hosting there first home match of the season against Madison on Friday, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m.
Boys basketball starts on Monday, Nov. 21, with the Panthers playing in the Roxana Tournament before hosting their first home game against East Alton Wood River on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 7:30 p.m.
The Panthers wrestling season starts Saturday, Nov. 26, as the Panthers travel to the Jacksonville Tom Carmody Invite, with their first home match of the season on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 5 p.m. against Springfield.

The Panthers were led by Tyler Ayres who scored 636 and Jacob Elliott with 615. The Panthers will head to Collinsville Saturday, Nov. 12, with a record of 1-0.
